The Patmos congregation, along with co-founders, Wayne & Carroll Brown, have been involved and supported Mercy Care Foundation missionaries in Africa.

*120 cans of soup collected in February by "Souper" Bowl Sunday
and donated to Lake Christian Ministries
*$252 collected for "Pennies for Potatoes" and donated to Society of St. Andrews - EndHunger.org
*provided a bike, helmet, and knee/elbow pads for a 3 year old little girl through a Care Portal request
*provided 2 feedings for 100 people for Cafe Wednesday at Park View Community Mission
*worked with 7 churches to raise $4k to help drill a new well through a Care Portal request
*donated Christmas gifts to 21 children in 11 families through

*donated Christmas gifts to 15 "Elves for Elders" through Central Virginia Alliance for Community
